Alexandra Pinto

Alexandra is a Physicist and Quantum Machine Learning Researcher, Entrepreneur, and Senior Deputy Researcher Contractor. She assists companies in adopting Quantum and AI solutions and leads research and development in data analysis and processing. 

She specializes in algorithms for analog signals and systems inspired by quantum computing, applied to both software and hardware. Her technical expertise lies at the intersection of Artificial Intelligence, Statistics, Neural Systems, and Quantum Computation. 

Alexandra has extensive experience as a technology contractor and entrepreneur, supporting the digital transformation of financial and digital enterprises. Her work focuses on risk analysis and Monte Carlo enhancements using High-Performance Computing and Quantum Optimization Algorithms. 

Passionate about neuroscience and its intersection with technology, data science, and efficient AI, Alexandra views the brain as the most complex and unexplored “black box,” taking input from the external world and producing physical laws and theories as output. She observes that theoretical models often overlook the brain’s role as an interpreter of the world, which limits the scope of knowledge to what can be perceived through the senses. She conducts research and development on designing smarter algorithms for embedded systems. 

As an entrepreneur, Alexandra currently serves as Operations Lead for the UK/EU and Senior Deputy Researcher for the USA at Xairos.
