Xairos Joins SmallSat Alliance
Key Collaborator Doing Quantum for Alt-PNT

LAFAYETTE, Colorado (February 13, 2025) – Xairos Systems Inc. (Xairos), a space-based quantum technology company, today announced that it has joined the SmallSat Alliance (SSA). Xairos utilizes Quantum Time Transfer (QTT) technology to provide a resilient and accurate global timing service and alternative position, navigation and timing (Alt-PNT) system compared with Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS) such as GPS.

The Hybrid Space Architecture also speeds collection and distribution of data, improves resiliency and allows for rapid reconstitution of lost assets.

Xairos utilizes Quantum Time Transfer technology to provide a resilient and accurate global timing service to augment the capabilities of Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS) such as GPS. Recently, the United States Space Force’s SpaceWERX and Space Systems Command selected Xairos as one of the companies participating in the Alt-PNT Challenge. In addition, Xairos and its affiliates have active and completed projects with the U.S. Air Force, NASA, and European Space Agency (ESA), among others.
